2007 Suzuki M109r Coating Work
This has turned out to be one of the best looking bikes around. Brian’s 2007 Suzuki M109r is really a night and day difference from what he started with. We were responsible for coating the exhaust system, miscellaneous brackets, handle bars and engine covers.
Check out what Brian started with and what it turned into now. Thanks for letting us be a part of the project.

351 Windsor Cast Headers — Shiny Aluminum Exhaust Coating
When headers are 40+ years old you can only imagine what they may look like. Cast headers are incredibly strong and offer good performance but they always leave a bit on the table in the looks department. This coating was done more for aesthetic appearances than performance but with any Performance Exhaust coating the performance aspect of the job is well valued as well. These headers are from a Ford 351 Windsor engine and we used 1600 Degree Shiny Aluminum Exhaust coating to bring a great new look.

The headers as they looked when the customer dropped them off. Solid headers but 40+ years of use have hurt them aesthetics wise.

These headers didn't offer the incredible transformation as other items after media blasting them but still gave us a fresh surface to apply the coating to.

The finished product offers great looks and performance versus their original appearance. Ready to be put onto the customers incredibly restored classic car.

Blox Cast Iron Turbo Manifold — Chrome High Temp Ceramic Coating
Here we have a Blox Racing Cast Iron Turbo Manifold for the popular B Series Honda and Acura engines. We decided to coat this particular manifold with the Chrome Like High Temperature Ceramic Coating to show yet another avenue that is available for your high temperature exhaust coating needs. The chrome like shine that this coating offers makes it a perfect fit for show cars and race cars alike.
The popular chrome like finish has a 1300 Degree’s F Substrate Temperature heat resistance rating and a 2000 Degree’s F Environmental Temperature heat resistance. These ratings make this a suitable coating for the majority of popular naturally aspirated and turbocharged applications.
Follow the picture timeline below to see the steps involved in prepping and finishing an item.

Blox Turbo Manifold out of the package as we received it from the manufacturer

Here is the manifold after we blasted it with 120 grit aluminum oxide in preparation for the coating to be applied.

After the final curing of 500 Degree's F for an hour in our oven this is what the manifold looks like, getting ready for the final step to bring the shine out.

There are several ways you can choose to bring the shine out of the coating after the curing process. In this application we choose to put the manifold back in the Blast Cabinet and go over it with Glass Bead at about 20 psi of pressure and here you see the final result.
Subaru WRX STi Perrin Header Coated
Here is an example of the high temperature coatings that we can offer. This Satin Black coating is rated at 1800 Degree’s Heat Resistance and gives a great look to boot. As you can see in the photo time line we started with a slightly used Perrin Header for a WRX STi, then blasted it with 120 grit Aluminum Oxide to prepare for the coating, sprayed the coating in 2 light coats and finally cured it.
This particular header is actually scheduled to go on our in house project ‘08 Subaru Impreza WRX STi and we are excited to install it and give further feedback at that point in time.
