Gloss Black Wire Motorcycle Wheels
Over the last couple of months we have tapered off on promoting the coating part of IPG but we still have been taking on jobs here and there. We just got done with this pair of wire motorcycle wheels and they came out great so we had to share.
These were new OEM takeoffs from a Harley Davidson that the customer wanted customized to his taste as he was making some other styling changes to the bike. You can’t reall go wrong with any black color, glossy or matte and these wheels continue to prove that.
Custom Powder Coated 17″ Stern Wheels
The Powder coating process is a great way to redo old, worn out wheels. These are 17″ JDM Stern wheels, a great looking wheel and nice finish when they were new but they have seen better days.
Blasting them down to the bare metal gives us a fresh canvas to provide a unique coating for that custom look.
Here we have the stages from how we received them to the finished product. This is a 3 piece wheel that we did the Lip and Barrel in a Gloss Black and the centers in Matte Black. Great looking wheel for this customer’s ride.

S2000 Wheels, Valve Cover and Strut Bases — Bronze Metallic
The Honda S2000 is continuing to be one of the most popular cars for high performance modifications on the market. The decreasing initial cost of the cars and increasing list of performance products on the market are making them highly sought after and very easy to modify. Personalizing your Honda S2000 with some powder coated parts is a great way to individualize your vehicle.
Here we have a set of OEM 17″ Honda S2000 Wheels, Honda S2000 Valve Cover with spark plug wire cover and Strut Bases for a Cusco Strut Bar.
This customer’s car is Red in color and the Bronze and Matte Black color options for powder coating will give it an overall great look.

These wheels are for an in house project race car that we are currently building. Originally they were gold and polished and then we ran them in a gunmetal color for a while but this latest coating on them really makes them an eye catching set of race wheels. The Weld Magnum and Magnum Import wheels are extremely popular in all forms of racing and we can gladly coat your Weld wheels in a similar style to these are a huge array of other colors.

Custom Powder Coated 19″ Wheels – Black with Red Lip
Here are a set of 19″ wheels that we just completed. These came in an ugly state viagra after stripping them down and a custom 2 tone powder coating job they are show quality.
These wheels use a High Gloss Black Center with a High Gloss Red Lip.
The wheels as delivered to us by the customer. Not in the best condition but that is what we are here to fix.
After being media blasted down to bare metal and prepped for the Powder Coating process, a clean slate to work with.

Harley Davidson Sportster Wheels Revitalized — Powder Coated AIO Chrome
Bringing back old and worn out parts to a new look is on of the things powder coating has become quite popular for. The classic Harley Davidson motorcycles will always be a favorite among enthusiasts and as they get older restoring them will continue to grow in demand.
Here we have a set of Harley Davidson Sportster wheels. As you can see from the first picture they have seen better days. Years of use and the environment have put them in a sad state of appearance. But IPG Coating can bring them back to as good as new with our coating capabilities. This customer didn’t want to be too flashy but still restore the wheel to have a great look. We chose the AIO Chrome for this project and as you can see the results are just amazing.
The wheels as they looked when they arrived to the shop. Years of use can make these great looking wheels look poorly.
Here is a shot of the wheel blasted and ready for coating. It is always interesting to see what the parts look like after the media blasting is performed.
The finished product in AIO Chrome. The AIO Chrome gives the wheel a bit more gloss than a basic silver. A great look for sure. Ready to give the motorcyle an entirely new, refreshed look.
BBS RS Wheels — Powder Coated Centers
These are some centers from a set of BBS RS wheels that we recently did. The BBS RS wheel is a classic look but really good condition wheels are getting harder and harder to come by. Most owners of these are now looking for alternatives to revive their old, worn out wheels and powder coating the centers is a great alternative.
As you can see the wheels were in rough shape when we received thm but with the IPG Coating treatment and some Cast Aluminum color powder they look as good as new, if not better.
Here are the wheels as we received them. Not looking so great but after blasting them with Glass Bead and prepping for the Coating process we had a great finished product.

Powder Coated Billet Specialty Wheels — High Gloss Mirror Black
Here is a set of 15″ wheels that we recently did for a customer. This is a great drag wheel type setup from Billet Specialties. They come with a very nice polished aluminum look directly from the manufacturer but this customer was after a more stealth look that our powder coating services can offer.
Follow the picture timeline below as we go through the process of making over this wheel for a great new look.
Billet Specialty Wheels as they looked when dropped off by the customer. As you can see they have a nice look to them already but with the large array of coating color options personalization is very easy.
This picture shows the wheels after the initial prep process. Putting them in the Blast Cabinet and hitting them with Glass Bead takes off any old coatings, paint, etc, that is on the wheels to prepare the surface for the coating process. Ater this we do a small amount more cleaning of the wheel, then pre-bake it, coat it and final cure it.
Finished product. The Super Mirror High Gloss Black looks incredible in person. Hard for the pictures to do it justice. What a great way to personalize your vehicle. This particular color is quickly becoming one of our most popular options.
