Powder Coated Edelbrock Performer X Intake Manifold for B18c1, GSR

Edelbrock Honda and Acura Intake Manifolds are wildly popular for their great bang for the buck performance.  Many customers like to differentiate themselves from the masses with custom coatings for both style and performance.

This is an Edelbrock Performer X Intake Manifold for the Acura Integra GSR, B18c1 Engine that has been powder coated a Semi-Gloss Black.  Great look and great performance. 

 

Camo B18c1 GSR Honda Valve Cover

With some downtime in the shop today we decided to play around with some coating ideas.  How about a little camouflage action for your valve cover?  This valve cover consists of 3 different colors — Matte Black, Olive Drab and Gold.  Although we can’t guarantee each valve cover will look exactly like this one as it all depends on how the powder decides to fall into place when doing the process we can do something similar for you no problem at all.  This turned out great and we look forward to doing more of these in the near future.

Then I Was Like BAM !!! Fluorescent Yellow Kosei K1’s

These are pretty intense.  The pictures don’t even do them justice, the Fluorescent Yellow is super bright in person.

Sometimes You Need a Little Color

Sometimes you just need a little color in life.

With work continuing on the IPG Track Rat Project: Left, Right, Left EF we figured the engine bay could use a little color to make things exciting.

This B16/B18c Honda DOHC Vtec Valve Cover was stripped to the bare metal and then powder coated this great shade of vibrant Green.  It is eye catching for sure.

And with some custom sticker work to the OEM Spark Plug Cover we viagra a unique valve cover for our powerplant that will draw some attention to the car when the hood is popped.

Gloss Black Wire Motorcycle Wheels

Over the last couple of months we have tapered off on promoting the coating part of IPG but we still have been taking on jobs here and there.  We just got done with this pair of wire motorcycle wheels and they came out great so we had to share.

These were new OEM takeoffs from a Harley Davidson that the customer wanted customized to his taste as he was making some other styling changes to the bike.  You can’t reall go wrong with any black color, glossy or matte and these wheels continue to prove that.

 

Custom Powder Coated 17″ Stern Wheels

The Powder coating process is a great way to redo old, worn out wheels.  These are 17″ JDM Stern wheels, a great looking wheel and nice finish when they were new but they have seen better days.

Blasting them down to the bare metal gives us a fresh canvas to provide a unique coating for that custom look.

Here we have the stages from how we received them to the finished product.  This is a 3 piece wheel that we did the Lip and Barrel in a Gloss Black and the centers in Matte Black.  Great looking wheel for this customer’s ride.

 

 

Honda B Series Top Mount Turbo Manifold — SA1600 Coating

The exhaust coating options are very popular in all forms of racing.  We love drag racing here at IPGCoating.com and have the privilege of working on many drag racing related projects.

This is a Top Mount Turbo Manifold for a Honda B Series engine.  The SA1600 Coating will give great performance and looks as the owner puts it through use and abuse making great horsepower #’s with his engine.

2007 Suzuki M109r Coating Work

This has turned out to be one of the best looking bikes around.  Brian’s 2007 Suzuki M109r is really a night and day difference from what he started with.  We were responsible for coating the exhaust system, miscellaneous brackets, handle bars and engine covers.

The Honda S2000 is continuing to be one of the most popular cars for high performance modifications on the market.  The decreasing initial cost of the cars and increasing list of performance products on the market are making them highly sought after and very easy to modify.  Personalizing your Honda S2000 with some powder coated parts is a great way to individualize your vehicle.
