Powder Coated Fire Engine Bell
Here is something a little different. This is an old fire engine bell that a customer brought to us to use for a custom project he is working on. Going for a nice shiny look but wanting the durability of a powder coated finish we used a Chrome-like finish to give the bell a very creative look that will be very durable.

Here is the bell as we received it from the customer. Overall in actualy pretty good shape after seeing quite a few years of use.

After blasting the bell with Glass Bead it was looking good and prepped for the powder to be sprayed and cured.

The finished product. I really like the way this finish turned out. At certain angles you can really see the parts shine and with the durability of the Powder Coated finish you can't go wrong for an item that may get a lot of use while being used on the new project.
Coated CP Pistons — Side Skirts and Domes
Piston coating is very popular among performance enthusiasts. Side Skirts are coated to reduce friction and offer better product durability through wear resistance. The Piston Domes are coated in order to reduce part temperatures and increase combustion chamber efficiency. The coatings can increase efficiency and ultimately help create more horsepower and torque.
We recently finished coating a set of CP Pistons for a customer. Using the Ceramic coating for the piston side skirts and a Thermal Barrier Coating for the piston domes you can follow along the pictures below to see the finished product.

CP Piston fresh out of the box as we receive them.

Pistons are now prepped and ready for coating. We blast them with aluminum oxide at a low air pressure to avoid any damage but give the part a good surface for the coating to adhere to.

Finished product ready to ship to the customer. We can offer this service for all types of applications from a basic street engine to a wild 1000+ Horsepower race engine.

Powder Coated Billet Specialty Wheels — High Gloss Mirror Black
Here is a set of 15″ wheels that we recently did for a customer. This is a great drag wheel type setup from Billet Specialties. They come with a very nice polished aluminum look directly from the manufacturer but this customer was after a more stealth look that our powder coating services can offer.
Follow the picture timeline below as we go through the process of making over this wheel for a great new look.

Billet Specialty Wheels as they looked when dropped off by the customer. As you can see they have a nice look to them already but with the large array of coating color options personalization is very easy.

This picture shows the wheels after the initial prep process. Putting them in the Blast Cabinet and hitting them with Glass Bead takes off any old coatings, paint, etc, that is on the wheels to prepare the surface for the coating process. Ater this we do a small amount more cleaning of the wheel, then pre-bake it, coat it and final cure it.

Finished product. The Super Mirror High Gloss Black looks incredible in person. Hard for the pictures to do it justice. What a great way to personalize your vehicle. This particular color is quickly becoming one of our most popular options.
